Pacemaker and Your Car JumpStarter!

Questions about possible interactions with a car jump starter and a Medtronic implanted heart device. A car jump starter  may interfere with the function of the implanted heart device. For this reason, Medtronic recommends a 24 inch distance between the implanted heart device and the cables. When the car jump starter  is in good working condition and used as intended, there is no known risk.
